Dove Men + Care Elements Minerals + Sage Deodorant Stick is one of the few products that struck the right chord for a lot of men.
It’s the favorite of many and a lot of people want to continue to see it in the market. But some good things come to an end.
I’ve come across too many great deodorants, antiperspirants, body sprays, etc., that manufacturer discontinued that I’m surprised if another one kicks the bucket.
It seems to be a cycle in the industry.
Dove Minerals and Sage Deodorant Discontinued: True or False?
The Dove Minerals and Sage Deodorant has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
Dove also confirmed the discontinuation on Twitter and here is a quote from them:
Hi there👋 We’re sorry to say the Dove Men + Care Elements Minerals + Sage Deodorant Stick has been discontinued but we’d be happy to help you find a new favorite. If you’re interested, please send us a DM!
Therefore, if you’re interested in this product, I’m sorry to break it to you that it’s now phased out. So, you now have to look for alternatives.
What about the antiperspirant? There seems to be quite a bit of this out there, with the same name as the deodorant.

If you go to the Dove website, this is what you’ll find.
It seems as though the product is still available. But then, why would Dove confirm a product as discontinued when, in fact, it’s still very much available?
From the look of things, it seems as though the antiperspirant is still available and not the deodorant itself. And as far as I’m concerned, these two are different.
While your deodorant helps you control odor so you can smell nice, your antiperspirant is only there to stop excessive sweating.

Interestingly, I also found both the antiperspirant and deodorant are also listed on Amazon, Walmart, and other popular eComm stores. I’ll link to Amazon here.

As you can see, you can buy the antiperspirant at the time of this writing. The deodorant, on the other hand, is not available for purchase.
At least for me. So, it seems that while you can still find the deodorant in some places, it’s actually not available for purchase. Probably a listing that is yet to be pulled down.
Finally, you can ask Dove yourself if you really want to be sure. But I can guess you’ll get the same reply I quoted above.
What then can you do? Look for alternatives!
Alternative to Dove Minerals and Sage Deodorant
Here are a few alternatives you can consider if you want something similar to the Dove Minerals and Sage Deodorant:

- Old Spice Timber
Note that I’m not guaranteeing you’ll see the exact same product.
Just some options to try out and see if you can pick up another favorite scent. As long as you like it, even if it’s not as good as Dove, I’ll go for it.
Conclusion
If you’re using a product now that you love, you probably don’t want to be too sure about its continuity. Some brands, including Dove, claims that they discontinue some of these products to allow for new innovation.

That’s to say they will discontinue it even if it’s popular and lots of people cherish it. Like Mineral and Sage, when these products get discontinued, they are rarely coming back.
